Dave Bremel, Ph.D. is a professional animal scientist specializing in ruminant and equine nutrition. He serves clients in nutritional management.
KRN Horse Vitamin/Mineral Supplements originated when Polly asked Dave to make a vitamin/mineral mix for her horses that was economical and had the things horses need, but not a lot of extra stuff that would be wasted and was costly. He created a pellet formula in 1994 and upgrades the recipe as new information is proven. Since that time, Polly has been feeding the supplement to her horses and has gotten so many compliments on how they look, Dave decided to sell the feed to others as well.
Dave has the supplement made locally and it is sold out of the Bremel barn and Pacific Crest Equine Clinic. Doing this makes the feed readily available in quantities typical horse owners can handle and very affordable.
KRN Horse supplements come in three recipes: 1. Standard maintenance formula. 2. Performance formula for horses in training and competition. 3. Active Senior formula for horses needing more condition.
